Apologies for the holdup, I kept getting homework and  piled up on me.  Thankfully it's Labor Day Weekend, so first of all, I wish you a great Labor Day Weekend.  

I decided to do a feature of my friends and watchers and asked them to comment on my journal:   [link]

Choosing the 10 to feature was difficult.  True to my word, I had to figure out which people put the most effort into their commenting.  Some people said they didn't want to be featured, so that also became a factor.  As you will see, many people went above and beyond.  

Without further ado, I present to you the 10 Features.

I had a difficult time picking only a few pictures to feature.  Her style is indescribable and always something new;  she'll go from a drawing a cute girl to paintings, and from paintings to strange, haunting worlds.  Her gallery definitely leaves an impression.

2. ~RyouShirogane

A very good friend of mine, she is someone who is dedicated to art.  Everywhere I look, there'll be a comment by her.  Everytime I look at her traditional gallery, I can see the effort plain as day.  She handles designs in a very unique way and colors with a dreamy quality.

3. ~Bijutsu-No-Himesama

One of my favorite people on this website , Katey gives the best critiques ever.  Her animated icons are quirky and fun (much like her personality) and she shades with a mouse, managing a lot of detail.

She claims she's not worth featuring, but it's quite apparent that it's not the case.  She has a great variety of work in her gallery, and seems to always try something new.  That is a defining feature in an artist; the willingness to try new things.  I think that her practices have yielded great results.

5. *Atlas0

True to his name, he is definitely a training artist;  his effort and dedication clearly shows up as improvement.  His gallery is evidence of his dedication, as each new picture gets better in some aspect.

6. ~KoolGal14

Mandy is a very familar name and icon to me.    She and I somehow always end up in the same situation;  our minds think quite alike.  She's one of my best friends on this site, a great source of inspiration and advice.  Her art and coloring style is bold and unique as you can see.

What an interesting array of art styles!  She has realism, photography, and cartoon-style pieces of art in her gallery. It makes for great diversity and flexibility.  Many of her pieces are thought provoking and full of emotion, very important aspects to art.

She has a beautiful and elegant art style and handles traditional media very well.  Both her drawing technique and coloring style combine to create a well-rounded and stable gallery.

9. ~Sheena-X-Zelos

She has such a happy art style.   When I look at her pictures, they make me smile.  It's something about the mood and the way she uses colors that get to me;  I find some of her pieces to be especially riveting.

10. ~MahouKiyoraka

She is one of my best friends on this site;  Kim has watched me for a very long time and always gave me helpful comments and critiques.  I found her painting of the ocean to be beautiful, both reflective and see-through, a hard effect to achieve.  Her photography is hopeful, and when I look at them I feel lighter.

All good things must come to an end.  

I will be doing more features in the future (hence the v.1) and I hope that you enjoyed looking at these pieces.  I tried my best to highlight what I felt was most phenomenal about each artist.      

On a final note, thank you for 500 watchers!  Just today I got my 500th friend and I feel so happy that I have such great support.  You guys make deviantART fun for me.
