Please favorite and/or comment so that you can promote your fellow artists and their artwork, thank you!
If you missed out on this time, don't worry. I'll do many more of these later on with different requirements.

Edit 8/24/08: Looks like I have over 10 people commenting, so this means I'll be able to close this today. Remember, I'm not featuring based on order of comments (i.e. first 10), but rather the content of the comment.

Hey everyone, yet again I feel like I'm spamming journals ahaha, apologies.
Basically, ~Kuurin featured me in this feature-tag game here: [link]
However, I want to change it up a bit. I don't want to make it seem like I'm only featuring because I have to, so I'm making up my own rules.
Because I am not a subscriber, I can't make a nice journal with thumbs and all, so whoever I pick will be written into a New Article, which I will post onto this journal and which will presumably show up in your inbox.
Requirements:
1. At least have some art in your gallery so I can feature lol, no brainer.
2. Post a comment in this journal (please keep reading for specifications on the comment)
3. Wait patiently to see if you are picked.
As far as the comment goes, either tell me what you'd like to see in my upcoming tutorial (I already have the basics, was wondering if anyone wanted anything super specific. I'm doing a walkthrough of Into the Inferno, and will explain how I created lava, clouds, texture, and lightning along with some basic color/light theory) or tell me ONE thing you want to improve in your work/ something new you want to try.
Being specific and detailed in your reply merits more credibility; thus I would want to pick you more.
I will be looking through your gallery very carefully and actually write what I think of your art in the News article- it's a great way for me to be more acquainted with my friends' art and also lets others check out your art as well. Sound like a good deal? I hope so.
OPEN UNTIL: 24 hours later (I will be checking this journal and closing the feature at 6 PM tomorrow).
FEATURING: 10 people only! *Actual thumbnails will vary, I'll feature whichever pieces I feel like deserve a notice.
If it's the case that I don't get 10 people commenting by 2 PM tomorrow for me, then I will further increase the time by 24 hours.
That's it as of now.
If anyone is wondering why I'm not very active, it's still because of homework. I've done lots of practice sketches that I don't feel deserve a place in my gallery or scraps ahaha, just experiments with brushes. I've done lots of traditional though, I'll see if I can get some of my watercolor stuff scanned. A new oil painting will come in another 2 months (slow drying time blargh) so yay. I need to work faster.

Thank you, I hope you get a good weekend too! For some reason the News Article replies aren't showing up in my inbox, so I'll have to go there to answer stuff.
its my pleasure
and i will try
welcome
So what I really want to say is that I'd love any sort of help, tutorial, suggestion... to improve on my art in any way. I really need the help. Although the piece of art you a doing a tutorial for is digital, which I do not do, I am still looking forward to it. Your art truly amazes me and this one particularly stands out in my mind.
I think what I really want to know about is how you do all the little details. Ok, maybe they're not little and it could be just me (because I'm not good at them), but still. The lighting, the blending, the simple-looking tiny details, the transitions between colors, the neatness, the texture, the contrast... all this is so much... and yet so little. I'd love to improve on it myself, because I am terrible at all those little details. I don't really know how to explain it, but your work really just looks so perfect all the time. I'm sure it's a lot of hard work, but looking at it from my perspective, I feel like your little details are all just things you do naturally when creating a piece of artwork. It really amazes me to no end. Your art is simply beautiful and there is no other way to describe it.
I hope that in some way, I will be able to benefit from your tutorial, regardless of it being digital. I would love to improve some way from all this. I'd also like to say that I am so proud of you. Your artwork has improved so much, while mine has remained quite stagnant for a while now. Everything you do impresses me and really fills my mind. I really...am proud of you. I cannot wait to see you continue to improve as well. I hope you continue to draw, paint, etc. for you are simply great at it. I wish you good luck in the future with everything and hope you never stop with art
I'm glad that even if it's digital, you'll still look at it. Truthfully, any tutorials and tips I give out won't be focused on the media, but rather the concepts and theories behind them.
Thank you for the most complete and thorough reply, and I am sorry for not replying right away.
Your description of my work is rather unfathomable in my opinion, perhaps because I always look towards improvement and thus I look at my work in a critical eye. For example, my colors are very saturated and I would like to balance out my hues and values. However, I do take pride in what I do because I know I put lots of effort into those details.
You're like a big sister to me on the internet.
Anyway, thank you for that. I feel special now
And you're very welcome as well; you deserve every bit of compliments and critiques I give you.
It's about the content of the comment and not "First 10 who comments get featured!" type deal.
